Vivek is going to do a comedy role along with Vijay in Dharani directed Kuruvi.
The last film in which Dharani and Vivek came together was Dhool, where the comedy track was very funny.
Vivek and Vijay have great comic timing, and one of the highlights of Kuruviis going to be the duos comedy scenes with Trisha.
Now comedy is an essential part of a Vijay film, as proved by the success of Pokkiri, where he was paired with Vadivel.
The hit team of “Ghilli”— actors Vijay, Trisha and Prakash Raj, music director Vidyasagar and writer-director Dharani — is back with “Kuruvi”. This is Udayanidhi Stalin’s first film as producer. Three years a fter the blockbuster “Ghilli”, Dharani is making a film in Tamil with Vijay, who is now a superstar. Says Dharani: “My responsibilities have increased, as ‘Kuruvi’ is an all-out action adventure laced with romance and family sentiment. I’ve written the script, keeping Vijay’s image in mind, and I’m sure it will not only please his fans but also become a super hit.” Dharani plans to start shooting for “Kuruvi” soon and it will be Vijay’s big 2008 summer release.
After the stupendous hit of the famous yesteryear hit song “Vasantha mullai” in Pokkiri, Vijay will once again be seen shaking his legs for another “Nadigar Thilagam” Sivaji song “Ponmagal vanthal” in ATM. Ponmagal vanthal is a mega hit song from the famous movie Sorgam.
No doubt this is a season of remixes and remakes, be it movies or songs, and people have started accepting these remix version with open arms. With ATM being a double heroine movie, are you wondering which one of them bagged the song? Well, this time luck seems to have favoured Shriya.
With just one more song to go to wrap up her shooting schedule for ATM, Shriya is expected to participate in Vikram’s Kandasaamy from September 24, onwards.
No, no, Vijay is not playing the role of the former president. Buthis fans came up with an interesting way to celebrate the actorrecieving the doctorate from the MGR University.A poster congratulating Vijay showed him in A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s hairstyle. An innovative way to wish your favourite star!
Way to go, Vijay fans!
After several rounds of in and out, Trisha has finally pipped Nayantara to bag the heroine’s role in Kuruvi.
In a sensational turnaround, Trisha has made a comeback as the heroine of Vijay in Dharani directed Kuruvi, produced by Udayanidhi Stalin.
Just a couple of days ago, sources in the production house confirmed that Nayantara would be the heroine.
Dharani, Vijay and music composer Vidyasagar, who came together to create magic on screen with Gilli, are back again for Kuruvi. It meant Trisha, who was part of the Gilli team, missing the bus.
Dharani has denied rumours that Kuruvi would be a sequel to Gilli. Vijay is fast wrapping up the shooting for Azhagiya Tamil Magan and is expected to commence shooting for Kuruvi soon.
In a turnaround, Trisha has reportedly replaced Nayantara now. Dharani has left to Hyderabad to brief Trisha on her role in Kuruvi.
Alas, Trisha has pipped Nayantara now to bag the plump offer.
